You can pour or place real concrete, which means structural work, weight, and a budget that ends the conversation. Or you can buy a paint that claims a concrete effect, roll it on, and look at it from six feet away hoping nobody gets closer.
The paint route is the one most people take, and it's the one most people regret. A printed or rolled-on concrete effect is flat. Concrete isn't flat — it has depth, tonal variation, and a texture you can feel. Miss that and the wall reads as a wall that's trying.

The Leggari® Concrete Wall System is a cementitious finish, not a paint. It's troweled onto the wall in layers and worked by hand, which is why it has the tonal variation and surface texture that a rolled product can't produce. Run your hand across it and it feels like concrete, because the finish is a cement-based material.
It goes over drywall, block, brick, or existing plaster. No structural work, no added weight to speak of, and no demolition. A feature wall is typically a two to three day job.
Because every wall is troweled by hand, no two are identical — the variation is the point.

Questions About Concrete Walls.
Is this paint?
No. It's a cement-based material troweled on in layers. That's why it has real texture and tonal depth rather than a printed effect.
What can it go over?
Drywall, block, brick, and most existing plaster. We evaluate the substrate at the estimate — anything loose or failing gets addressed first.
Is it heavy?
Not meaningfully. It's a surface finish, not structural concrete, so no framing or footing work is involved.
Can it go around a fireplace?
Fireplace surrounds are one of the most common uses. Clearances to the firebox are checked at the estimate and detailed to code.
Can it go in a bathroom or outside?
Interior walls are the standard application. Wet areas and exteriors are evaluated case by case — different exposure, different detailing, and sometimes a different system is the right answer.
Will it crack?
It's a flexible cementitious system, not a rigid slab. Wall movement is normal and the finish is built to accommodate it.
