The Leggari® Shower System goes directly over your existing tile. No tear-out. The tile stays exactly where it is — we prep it, bond to it, and finish over it with a seamless coating that reads as stone or terrazzo.
Because there's no demolition, there's no dumpster, no debris through the house, and no discovering something behind the wall that turns a scheduled job into an open-ended one. The whole thing runs about two days.
The finish is continuous. There are no grout lines because there is no grout — nothing porous, nothing to trap soap scum, nothing to seal every year. It cleans the way a countertop cleans.

Questions About Shower Coatings.
Can you really go over tile?
Yes — that's what the system is designed for. The tile has to be sound and bonded. Loose or drummy tile gets addressed first, and if a shower isn't a candidate we'll tell you at the estimate rather than after we've started.
How long until I can use it?
Typically two to three days after the final coat, depending on temperature and ventilation. We give you the exact schedule at the walk-through.
Is this waterproofing?
No, and be careful with anyone who tells you it is. This resurfaces the finished surface. The waterproofing behind your tile is whatever was installed originally. If there's an active leak, that gets fixed before we coat anything.
What about the mold in my grout?
There's no grout when we're done. The finish is continuous, so there's nothing porous left for anything to grow in.
How does the cost compare to retiling?
Substantially less, and it's a two-day job instead of a two-week one. Pricing depends on the size and layout of the shower, so we quote it on site after we've seen it.
Does it cover the floor of the shower too?
Yes, walls, curb, bench, and niches. Shower pans are evaluated individually since they see standing water and drainage detail matters.
