Garage Floors
Garage Floor Coatings in Central Indiana
Polyaspartic systems that handle hot tires, road salt, and everything you drop. Installed by the owner, finished in one to two days.
A coated garage floor is a resin system bonded to your slab after it's been mechanically ground. Which system depends on what you want the floor to do.
Which System
Three Ways to Do a Garage Floor.
Most garages get Certified Flake — full-broadcast decorative chip that hides imperfections and handles hot tires and road salt. Metallic Epoxy is the other decorative option, when the floor is meant to be the reason people walk into the garage. Solid Shield is the practical choice for shop floors, rentals, and storage — a tough single color, sealed and easy to clean, no decoration. Same prep on all three. The difference is the material and the price.
The Problem
Most garage floors don't need to be replaced.
Your garage floor is the largest surface in your house that nobody ever thinks about — until it starts shedding concrete dust on everything, or the salt from four Indiana winters eats pits into the slab, or the coating you rolled on yourself starts lifting where the tires sit.
Bare concrete is porous. It absorbs oil, road salt, brake fluid, and moisture, and once it starts spalling it gets worse every freeze-thaw cycle. Most garage floors don't need to be replaced. They need to be sealed properly — one time, by someone who preps them right.
Our Solution
The performance difference is mostly in the prep.
We install professional-grade polyaspartic coating systems. Polyaspartic is chemically related to polyurethane but cures dramatically faster and holds its color under UV — it won't yellow the way older epoxies do near a sunny garage door.
The performance difference is mostly in the prep. We diamond-grind every slab to open the concrete's pores so the primer coat bonds mechanically into the surface rather than sitting on top of it. That's the difference between a floor that lasts and one that peels up with a tire in year three.

Four Ways to Finish It.
Full-flake — the most popular. Decorative vinyl flake broadcast to rejection, then top-coated. Hides imperfections, adds texture, dozens of blends available.
Solid color — clean, modern, shop-floor look.
Metallic — flowing pigment for a high-end, one-of-a-kind finish.
Add-ons — anti-slip aggregate, custom borders, logo inlays, base coving.

Straight Answers
Questions About Garage Floors.
How long before I can park on it?
Light foot traffic the same evening in most cases. Vehicles typically two to three days depending on system and temperature.
Do I have to empty the garage?
Yes, completely. We can help move heavy items, but the floor needs to be clear before grinding starts.
Will it be slippery when wet?
A coated floor is smoother than bare concrete. Full-flake systems have natural texture, and we can add anti-slip aggregate to the top coat for anyone worried about it.
What about my existing coating?
Old coatings get ground off as part of prep. It adds time and cost, and it's quoted separately once we see it.
